Fitness trainer Sarai White shares ways we can ease ourselves back into regular workout plan after an illness or injury. Sarai was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and as someone who exercised most of her life, this took a mental and physical toll on her. When it was time to get back to the gym, she lacked the motivation she once had.
But with simple strength training exercises and being forgiving that some days she was not going to be on point, she eased her way back into lifting weights.
She put together a 15 minute full body workout for those who are just beginners or perhaps recently recovered from an illness or injury. It’s gentle yet gets the heart pumping and your muscles moving.
