Although you are trying to take care of your skin with your daily cleansing routine, if you don’t follow some basic guidelines, you can do more harm than good. Make sure you use a gentle cleanser. Anything too strong can strip your skin of necessary oils. The same is true for baths and showers in water that is too hot.
